The young dog had decided that the ring road was a great place for a walk. And so the police were faced with a challenge, because how do you get a playful labradoodle off the highway without it becoming dangerous?
Together with an inspector from Rijkswaterstaat, Barras and Buddy’s supervisors managed to safely capture the dog. Police dog Barras played a special role in this: instead of barking or biting, he managed to become friends with the labradoodle. That worked, because moments later the animal could be calmly approached and brought to safety.
The young dog was reunited with its owners after the incident.
