“Police did not distinguish between racers and spectators”

“Police did not distinguish between racers and spectators”

A father testifies about his son, who was present at the LAR last night as a spectator. His son’s driver’s license was revoked because he attended the street races at the LAR. But he himself says that he has not committed any offense and certainly has not taken part in a street race.

“My son was a spectator of such a street race last night. And when he went back to his car with some friends, suddenly the street was closed and the police or federal police have made the decision to revoke their driver’s license solely on the model of the car they drive. My son drives a sports car and only on that they have withdrawn the driving license from those sports cars with the suspicion of, you must have raced, but that was not the case at all.”
