A police car accidentally hit a house in Veen on Saturday evening. The house was badly damaged. An officer has gone to the hospital.
The police car lost its grip on the road around eight o’clock in the evening, the police report on Twitter. The car drove off the Maasdijk and then crashed into the house. That got pretty damaged.
An officer has been taken to hospital for a check-up. No other people were injured.
According to the police, there is close contact with the residents of the house and the damage will be handled through the insurance.
