Police are looking for camera footage of violence against officers by Legia fans

The police are asking people who have camera images of the violence by Legia supporters against the police prior to the AZ-Legia football match to come forward. One member of the mobile unit became unconscious.

Things went completely wrong before the match in the group stage of the Conference League on October 5. The supporters of the Polish football club stormed the box intended for them and used heavy violence. One riot police officer becomes unconscious, two others were able to continue their work with minor injuries. The Legia supporters also captured a number of batons and helmets.

The police and the Public Prosecution Service take this incident seriously, the police write on their own website. That is why an investigation into the perpetrators of the violence is being launched. People with images of the violence are asked to come forward.
