More about Pokey Lafarge:

Pokey Lafarge, bourgeois Andrew Heissler, originally comes from Bloomington in Illinois. His music combines elements of blues, folk, country and jazz. He combines several traditional American music genres together and has built up his very own niche. His artist name is also a mixture of different things: “Pokey” dates from his youth and “Lafarge” is inspired by the surname of the folk singer Peter Lafarge.

His current album “Rumba Country” was released last year and is already his eleventh studio album. His best -known publications include “Something in The Water (2015)”, “End of My Rope” (2020) and “Fine to Me” (2021). His nostalgic style is particularly striking, but at the same time comes across modern interpretation.
