The righting of Kolmostie, lobbied by the Pirkanmaa ely center, is an absurd project, writes Santtu Silvennoinen from Pirkkala. An absurd road project has been planned for the Tampere region, when you look at it from a sports, outdoor recreation or nature point of view. Highway 3 runs from Helsinki to Vaasa via Hämeenlinna, Tampere and Pirkkala. The 400-kilometer-long road is one of Finland’s main thoroughfares. The motorway from Helsinki to Pirkkala is just under a couple of hundred kilometers.
