This morning it will be cloudy almost everywhere and there will be heavy showers across the province. This may be accompanied by a thunderstorm. The wind turns to the northwest during the morning and becomes stronger along the coast.
According to Visser, the temperature will reach a maximum of 12 degrees this afternoon. We are not done with the showers yet. This afternoon, numerous areas of rain will also pass over North Holland. The wind is moderate over land, but can be strong at sea. Wind gusts of up to approximately 75 km/h can occur on the coast and on Texel.
Tonight the wind will increase even further and it may even become stormy on Texel, with wind force 8. New showers will reach our province during the night.
Tomorrow there is a chance of strong gusts of wind
The KNMI has declared code yellow for the whole of North Holland from 3 a.m. tomorrow morning until 4 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. Heavy wind gusts with gusts of up to 100 km/h may occur, especially in coastal areas.
According to Weatheronline a fourth autumn storm cannot be ruled out tomorrow. The temperature does not rise much higher than 11 degrees during the day. It doesn’t stay dry either: heavy showers will pass through again throughout the day.
Next week starts poorly, later drier and slightly warmer
Monday was another day with strong winds and lots of rain. It won’t be much warmer than Sunday: a maximum of 12 degrees. The following days it will be less wet and the sun will slowly show itself again. The temperature then rises again to about 15 degrees.
