Sprayers and a whole heap of spray can rubbish have left behind on the central fairground Photo: Ralf Lutter/Christian Lohse

By Boris Dombrowski

On the central fairground, graffiti sprayers simply threw hundreds of used spray cans into nature. A comment from BZ editor Boris Dombrowski.

Deposit on spray cans? “They’re crazy, the politicians,” I can already hear one or the other complaining reflexively. And can’t hear it anymore!

Because it is like a reversal of guilt. If everyone behaved considerately towards their fellow human beings and the environment, such demands from politicians would not be necessary at all.

The empty spray cans can be recycled, so they are an important resource. Therefore: Please dispose of it professionally and don’t just throw it somewhere in nature!

And that should apply in principle, for cigarette butts as well as for chewing gum, drinking cups and, and, and.

Or do you actually feel comfortable in such garbage corners? Certainly not …
