Which players score best and which fit in your budget? The price of the footballers is based on the market value and as so often, a colorful mix leads to success!
It is up to you whether you are starting your acquaintances or other TM users. Who has the right nose with bargains and who is the biggest manager expert? Now put your squad together – you can start at any time during the season! Here are the most important steps to get started.
This is how the manager game at the transfer market works:
1. A free registration at transfermarkt.de is required for participation. For registration
2. If you are registered as a TM user, you can create your own private league. Up to 17 other players can be invited via TM username or email-a maximum of 18 participants. Create your own league here
2.1. Alternatively, a “wild league” can also be joined. Here you will randomly selected TM users. As soon as the number of ten players is reached, the league is started. Join a “wild league”
3. As soon as friends, work colleagues and Co. have accepted the invitation, the administrator can give the starting signal for the manager league. Now each manager gets a squad from Bundesliga players and players can be bought and sold. Every manager has the same budget – so equal opportunities are ensured.
Buy and sell players: This is how the transfer market manager game works
4. Everyday manager begins. Your own players can be offered for sale at any time on the transfer market-you determine the starting price. The “eBay” principle is offered.
5. In the “Transfer market” area, trades are traded. There you can see the footballers who want to sell you and your teammates and the one that the computer offers for sale every day – there is only every footballer per league once and only for a certain time. So you can outbid your teammates until the last second, but it can also happen to you that someone snaps away a player in front of your nose. Players can also be awarded for a negotiating fee.
6. The computer is also traded. If no other player on your player offers, you can accept the offer of the computer or negotiate with it about the amount of the transfer. A maximum of three rounds of negotiations are possible, but the chance of a higher bid is reduced after each round. At the same time, there is a risk that the computer will get out of the negotiations. The traded player is then taken with a transfer lock for a short time.
7. Special feature of the TM manager game: The transfer window is always open, entrances and exits are possible before each match day.
8. In the TM manager game, you can lead secret negotiations with your teammates and also give offers for the players who are not on the transfer market at all.
9. Financial FairPlay is very important and since you have no billionaires in your back, your account balance must be in plus at least two hours before each match day – otherwise your team cannot get points for you.
10. Immediately before each matchday, you put the best possible eleven out of your squad and choose four reservists. Depending on the performance, the players from TM are rated, for example there are extra points for goals – while references provide minus counters. The player’s TM note also flows into the evaluation. The points are allocated on regular weekend match days on Monday afternoons.
