A plane crashed this afternoon in a meadow on the Brouwerswijk near Nieuwlande. The two passengers of the plane were seriously injured in this, the police said.
The emergency services received the report of an accident with a small plane around 3 p.m., after which the police, ambulance, fire brigade and a trauma helicopter arrived.
The aviation police investigates the cause of the incident.
