Thomas Gottschalk would like to moderate the TV show “Wetten, dass ..?” in the future. In the interview with “Hörzu”, which will only appear on Friday (November 11), the entertainer said he was “open-ended”. The current broadcast schedule calls for a show on November 19 – and then another in the coming year.

For Gottschalk, the decision now lies with ZDF and God: “I’m open-ended if ZDF and God agree.” If the 72-year-old had his way, he could continue to moderate “Wetten, dass…?” for an eternity. However, he already knows what will not happen: An episode in Mallorca “was always a topic of conversation, but ultimately disappointing in terms of the ratings. In the memory of ZDF viewers, the summer edition is also inextricably linked to the bullring on Mallorca. However, this structure is now dilapidated and would not survive such a large event.”

“Bet that ..?” on November 19th

In addition to Thomas Gottschalk, Michelle Hunziker will also moderate the show. Together, the two welcome a number of prominent guests such as John Malkovich, national team players Alexandra Popp and Giulia Gwinn, and tennis player Alexander Zwerev. In addition to the comedians Michael Bully Herbig and Christoph Maria Herbst, the actress Veronica Ferres will also be there with her daughter. The two social media stars Lisa and Lena will accompany the show with their smartphones and provide backstage insights.

Music will come from Robbie Williams, who will perform his song “Lost” from the album “XXV”. Canadian newcomer Tate McRae will also sing as an international reinforcement, and Herbert Grönemeyer from Germany will be on stage.
