Pink angry over Twitter mix-up with Eddie Izzard: “You nameless fucko!”

On Twitter, P!nk expressed her displeasure with a user who posted a photo of British comedian and actress Eddie Izzard and signed it with the words: “Happy Birthday Pink”. The American pop singer’s anger is not related to the mix-up, but rather the fact that the Twitter user is trying to make fun of both of them with the posting – about P!nk as well as the trans and genderfluid Izzard. A certain similarity could perhaps be debated, but the post seems like a denigration of both, which also pisses P!nk off.

Divided into four posts, she replies: “Thank you so much. I just showed your post to my 12 year old daughter. I explained to her that I’ve never met you, that I don’t know you, and that I have no idea why you bother being hateful. That was a good lesson in ignorance.
That was a good lesson in ignorance. Thanks. I still don’t know you. I congratulate. You are a nobody. These kinds of people are anonymous and lonely, and unhappy. But: Most people are smart, good and great. MOST IMPORTANT: What a missed opportunity. There are so many pictures you could have chosen that were actually me and that were worse than this picture, you nameless fucker. At least be creative next time, dum dum. I post these things to show the children I know – including my own children – that we are all treated badly from time to time. I show them because they know me, and they know that my self-esteem doesn’t depend on other people’s opinions. It also doesn’t depend on how many tickets I sell. Good Bad. However. I love myself. Now I’m going to really, really sleep
good. Night night.”

Her followers agree with P!nk. One wrote: “I’ll never forget what you said in a behind-the-scenes video in the 2000s. You said something like, ‘Sometimes I think ‘I don’t like my legs, they’re so fat’. But then I think that means they are strong and will carry me when I’m older.” You inspired me to be kinder to my body.
