Wijnaldum – In the outskirts at Wijnaldum and Sexbierum in the northwest of Friesland, fire started in various places on Sunday evening. It concerned six separate piles consisting of reeds and branches. According to a spokesperson for the fire brigade, there was a fire brigade team at every fire and there was no chance of further expansion.
