A photographer was robbed on Thursday evening in the Almbos in Giessen. The man was there around a quarter past seven taking photos when he was approached by an unknown man.
According to the police, he asked what the camera was worth. When the photographer said that it was none of his business, he was threatened with a sharp object. The perpetrator then fled with two camera lenses.
After the robbery, the man fled on a bicycle in the direction of the Karbogerd. The victim was not injured, but according to the police the robbery had a major impact.
The police are looking for witnesses. A description of the suspect has also been shared. This is a man of around thirty years old. He is about 1.70 meters tall, has light tanned skin, black curly hair and brown eyes. He wore a black shirt and rode an older men’s bicycle.
