Phones of criminals arrested in Belgium provide new clue in Louvre multi-million heist

After the spectacular art theft in the Louvre in Paris last October, a new trail has emerged that may lead to Belgium. Belgian detectives are said to have found photos of the interior of the Louvre and in particular of the Galerie d’Apollon, where the robbery took place, on the mobile phones of several arrested thieves. The magazine Paris Match and the newspaper Le Parisien reported this on Monday, citing the judiciary.
