Phoenix release single “Winter Solstice” including dark music video

Phoenix released their new track “Winter Solstice” along with the music video on Wednesday (October 19). The latest single from the album ALPHA ZULU, which will be released on November 4th, is presented with a depressing music video in black and white. Warren FU directed it.

The track is the only one Phoenix didn’t put together in the studio together. Lauren Brancowitz, Christian Mazzalai and Deck D’Arcy created a song loop for “Winter Solstice” and sent this to frontman Thomas Mars. The number was then created on the basis of the loop.

The record “ALPHA ZULU” – available from November 4th

Following their last album TI AMO (2017), ALPHA ZULU, to be released via Loyauté/Glassnote, is Phoenix’s first LP in five years.

The self-produced work was created in a specially built studio in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in the north wing of the Louvre. The album can already be pre-ordered here.

“Tonight” (feat. Ezra Koenig), the title track “Alpha Zulu” and now “Winter Solstice” have already been released.

Phoenix 2022 once live in Germany

On November 20, Phoenix will perform once in Germany this year. The band will also be touring in Italy, England, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and America until mid-January.
