Iltalehti caught up with Vesala to comment on the evening’s progress.

– The evening went really well, relaxed but in any case a bourgeois civilized atmosphere, Antti Vesala described.

– There were mostly people from the party office and a few other people.

According to him, in addition to the prime minister, the group also included the party secretary of the coalition Kristina Kokko and his spouse.

– We were all very happy that Petteri and Niina joined us. Petteri himself has once been an employee of a party organization and therefore knows how to appreciate and thank the group that, for example, does a lot in elections, but shows a little less on the outside.

He sees many strengths in Stubb with an eye to the presidency.

– Alex Stubb will be in his element as president both when working with world leaders and when meeting citizens in different parts of Finland. I believe that the “unifying factor” was not just a slogan, but we get to see it mean a concrete way of working for him.
