Peter Gillis written off by RTL Boulevard: ‘Off the tube!’

Peter Gillis can be written off by SBS 6 if it later turns out that he has indeed abused his girlfriend Nicol, the experts of RTL Boulevard think. “Then he goes off the tube.”

Peter Gillis and his girlfriend Nicol Kremers deny it in all tones, but according to the show media it is really true: he would have mistreated her on May 29, been arrested and spent one night in jail. A court hearing will take place on August 12, but the two deny that they have anything to do with this.

‘It did happen’

Unbelievable, says RTL Boulevard. Nicol has children with another man and show expert Rob Goossens has spoken with his brother. “He said, ‘He was definitely in jail overnight and Nicol is definitely the one who was allegedly assaulted.’ (…) It happened and things haven’t been going very well between those two lately.’”

Things have happened before between the two, that brother tells Rob. And Yvonne Coldeweijer adds that this would not be the first relationship in which Peter would misbehave. She understands that Peter even locked up his previous girlfriend for two days. “He beat and bit her.”

‘Would be a stupid coincidence’

Shownieuws also points to the Public Prosecution Service. Although they do not want to name the person who has been arrested, the description fully corresponds to that of Peter. In addition, the Public Prosecution Service referred to the lawyer who is also the lawyer of Peter Gillis. “That would really be a stupid coincidence,” according to the show column.

It is therefore surprising that Peter and Nicol deny so hard, even to their own employer Talpa. Boulevard reporter Aran Bade has spoken to the two and also warned them. “I said: ‘If it turns out to be real, how can we still believe you?’ I was just in the car with them and what kind of play did I see?”

Luxury life

Nicol is not happy in that relationship anyway, Rob thinks. “Peter also seems to have absolutely nothing to do with her children. When she takes care of the children, she is in a chalet at his Prinsenmeer holiday park. That is of course a bit crazy, especially when you consider that apparently (…) the children are under the supervision of Youth Care.”

He continues: “I don’t think she wants to stay with him at all. In fact: I think she wants to get rid of him, only then would she have to say goodbye to the luxurious life. Peter has been smart enough to ensure that all the luxuries she has in her life, including what her mother is in Spain, is in his name.”

Through the shredder

If it turns out that Peter is the man it’s about, he can pack his bags at SBS 6, Rob expects. “Very stupid. This program can go through the shredder after it has gone to court and then you might be able to light the fire at Christmas with the tapes of the program.”

“You can no longer broadcast it with good decency after an alleged assault, if even The Voice goes off the tube immediately,” continues Rob. And colleague Aran agrees: “If he is convicted, you can’t watch it anymore.”

Finally, Shownieuws expert Bart Ettekoven: “I assume that there have been feverish consultations at Talpa, because it is quite a lot. If it turns out to be correct, then the question automatically arises: can you continue with that series?”

Speculation

There is a lot of speculation about the case:
