Person hit: no train traffic between Bruges and Lichtervelde
The collision happened a few hundred meters before the platform of Torhout station. The train involved was en route from Kortrijk to Bruges. The 100 travelers were taken to the station by buses.
Railway company NMBS is now installing replacement buses between Bruges and Lichtervelde.
