Perkz overruns his ex-team G2 Esports

In the second week of the European League of Legends league LEC, Team Vitality played strongly against G2 Esports. After a disastrous start to the LEC, Vitality ended week two undefeated. At the top of the table are two undefeated teams, Fnatic and Rogue.

The game against G2 meant a lot, especially for Luka “Perkz” Perković – the LoL star has played for the Berlin organization for more than five years in total. “I was nervous before the game,” he said in an interview after the game. “I have a lot of memories and a long history with the team. I definitely invested more in this game and got more excited than other games.”

Vitality dominated the game from the start – Perkz in particular showed a flawless performance compared to the first week. G2 found no answers to the oppressive style of play and had to watch the game slip away from them. Vitality closed the game within 30 minutes and had a perfect weekend.

Fnatic and Rogue continue undefeated

Rogue remains undefeated in week two, exceeding expectations with the new line-up. The team showed a flawless performance not only against Team BDS but also against the direct opponent MAD Lions.

Fnatic also maintains its winning streak – the team around German Elias “Upset” Lipp overran Misfits Gaming in just 23 minutes and shares the top spot with Rogue. The two leaders will meet next week. “Fnatic are a very good team and we’ll see how good we really are,” said Rogue’s Adrian “Trymbi” Trybus in the post-game interview.
