Friday in particular got off to a strong start with more than 42,000 visitors. The move of Kortrijk Loopt to Friday evening turned out to be a success, with 3,485 participants. Sunday was the busiest day of the weekend with 69,150 visitors.
According to mayor Ruth Vandenberghe, Kortrijk showed “its best side”. Alderman Wouter Allijns also speaks of “perhaps the best Sinksen ever”.
