Pere Aragonès begins a nine-day trip through Latin America

Hours after obtaining the approval of the budgets, and three weeks after his visit to Dublin, the ‘president’ Pere Aragones and the ‘councillor’ for Foreign Affairs and the European Union, Meritxell Serret, will begin this Sunday a nine-day institutional trip to visit four Latin American countries: Colombia, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. The records that will be addressed in this journey range from the economic field to cooperation for peace, passing through historical memory and human rights.

During the trip, Aragonès will maintain institutional contacts with national, regional and municipal governments of the four countries, and will also meet with former Latin American leaders, such as the former president of Uruguay Pepe Mujicaand will sign a bilateral cooperation agreement between the Generalitat and the Government of the province of Buenos Aires.
