The discounter Pepco has further expanded its presence in Germany. The chain, which belongs to the retail group Pepco Group NV, has also had a branch in Berlin’s Alexa shopping center for a few days now.
Pepco has been using 507 square meters of space on the second floor of the centrally located shopping mall on Alexanderplatz since September 29th, explained the real estate company Sonae Sierra, which manages the Alexa on behalf of the owner Union Investment and was also responsible for the most recent rental .
Oliver Hanna, the center manager of Alexa, praised the new addition to the tenant portfolio: “We are pleased that with Pepco we are bringing another crowd puller to Alexanderplatz,” he explained in a statement. “With the new branch we are expanding our shopping diversity in the areas of fashion and household and offering our customers even more choice.”
