“People will fly to the moon again in 2024” NASA announces plans for Artemis II mission

About three months have passed since NASA’s Orion spacecraft landed in the Pacific Ocean after its flight to the moon and back. After a careful review of the successful Artemis-I mission, it was decided it was time for the next step. Astronauts will return to the moon for the first time since 1972. “Our target for Artemis-II launch is November 2024,” said Jim Free (NASA chief of human exploration for deep space).
