The Telstar fans are unstoppable and eager to go to the stadium. Telstar fan Jomanda honked his team from behind the fence to the 1-0 victory over Jong Ajax. “I think that’s great,” says Telstar trainer Andries Jonker.
“That someone takes the trouble to look on a dike from behind a lattice fence on a Sunday afternoon. That he also takes his horn with him and uses it if Telstar needs it. Great!” continues Jonker.

Chocolate bar for shirt Plet
Jomanda wasn’t the only fan to gather. Even before the game there were two boys who were watching. They wanted to exchange a chocolate bar for Glynor Plet’s shirt.

At the start of the match, the young men were sent away by a steward, but a little later more and more fans gathered. This time the stewards did not dare to send the handful of people away.

The fans remained behind the fence for the rest of the game. Afterwards they tried to arrange Plet’s shirt, but in vain. Next week we will make another attempt to get the shirt.
