The fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf is opening its first store in Italy.
The South Tyrolean city of Bolzano was chosen as the location, a spokeswoman confirmed when asked by FashionUnited. The trade magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on it.
The new store is scheduled to open its doors on October 16th under the responsibility of the sister company Peek & Cloppenburg, Vienna. The sister company is responsible for business in Austria and Central and Eastern Europe.
It is not the first time that Peek & Cloppenburg announced plans for the Italian market. The company announced as early as mid-2023 that it wanted to open a store in Italy. At that time, a retail space was planned in the Merlata Bloom shopping center in Milan.
