Pedro Sánchez will miss the G-20 summit after testing positive for covid

The acting President of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, has tested positive for covid this afternoon in the mandatory test for attendance at the G-20 Summit. Consequently, she will not be able to travel to the city of New Delhi on September 9 and 10, as announced by Moncloa this afternoon, which states that “the president is well and will continue working from his residence.”
