In June last year, our editors revealed that Flemish child abusers use and distribute so-called ‘pedo handbooks’. It explains how you can approach, seduce and ultimately abuse a child. According to the minister, such books were not yet explicitly punishable, but he now wants to change that. Whoever possesses or distributes them can face prison sentences of up to 5 years.
