Pedestrian dies after being hit by drunk driver
The accident happened around 00:15 on the Grote Markt in Ypres. A car hit a crossing pedestrian, who was taken to hospital in critical condition. The victim died there of the injuries.
The 51-year-old driver was driving under the influence of alcohol. A traffic expert must demonstrate what exactly happened.
