A video posted to YouTube shows frontman Eddie Vedder announcing fan Arroyo, after which the entire band helps him get behind the drums. The fan then has the whole number Yellow Ledbetter played along. In the comments below the video you can read that just before that, Vedder called out if there were still drummers in the room. Arroyo was then picked for wearing a T-shirt that listed all of Pearl Jam’s former drummers.
Due to Cameron’s absence, other musicians also took the honors behind the drums during the concert. Josh Klinghoffer, former guitarist of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, among others, drummed along with the band’s biggest hits.
