PEACE OUT Farewell Tour: Aerosmith announce farewell tour

Aerosmith have been on stage for more than 50 years, now it’s finally over: The American rock band has released a two-minute video and an official statement on their website officially announced their farewell tour. The “PEACE OUT Farewell Tour” includes a total of 40 performances in North America and “stops at famous arenas in the USA and Canada, including the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, Madison Square Garden in New York, the Moody Center in Dallas, the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, United Center in Chicago, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and many more,” according to the website. Nothing is known (yet) about appearances in Europe.

The tour kicks off in Philadelphia on September 2, 2023 and concludes at the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec on January 26, 2024. A highlight of the tour is said to be a special New Year’s Eve show where the band will perform in their hometown of Boston. The Black Crowes have been announced as special guests for the entire tour. The statement on their website ends with a quote from the band, which reads: “It’s not goodbye, it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and go this way, you’re going to see the best show of our lives.”

The two-minute video, which was also released on Monday (May 1, 2023), titled “Aerosmith Says, Peace Out,” is set in the style of an action movie as news of Aerosmith’s farewell tour rocks the world. Several prominent people have their say in the clip, including Ringo Starr, Eminem, Kelly Clarkson, Bill Burr, Terry Crews and Slash from Guns N’ Roses.
