Last year Paul McCartney was reunited 51 years after disappearing with his long -lost bass guitar. The story is now told in a new documentary entitled “The Beatle and the Bass Guitar”.

The new film is produced by Passion Pictures, which won a bavae with the Sundance hit “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” this year. It was commissioned by BBC Arts. McCartney itself has their say in the film. And talks about the long journey to the return of the instrument after the theft. “I think everything you are stolen back. McCartney bought the Höfner guitar for the first time in 1961, at the age of 18. She was played on numerous iconic Beatles songs. In 1972, however, the bass was stolen. And his whereabouts remained a mystery. Until a grass root campaign called “Lost Bass Project” was launched, which made it to be the goal of tracking down the bass and returning McCartney. The Beatle confirmed the return of the instrument last year.

There is currently no release date for the film.
