Patrik Laine succeeded in scoring again, but the Columbus Blue Jackets bowed to the Los Angeles Kings in overtime.

The Finn struck in the second set of the game’s 1-1 draw when the Kings pack Mikey Anderson served his puck to Lainee in front of the goal. Tesoma’s cannon thanked for the serving and tapped the puck with one touch on the top shelf.

The goal for Laine was already the 21st of the season, although the man has only 36 games left. With a full 82-game season, Laine would now have 48 goals and 89 points.

However, Laine will not break his actual record and goal records, as he has already been on the sidelines for 19 games this season due to an abdominal injury. So far in his best season (2017–2018), the man has knocked out 82 game powers of 44 + 26 = 70.

Arvidsson hat

After the wave hit, Columbus raced twice more within the next minute and took the 3-1 lead.

However, Kings rose in the final bout to levels and continued to win when Viktor Arvidsson finished his hat trick at the end of the run.

Arvidsson was naturally chosen as the number one star in the game. Columbus Sean Kuraly (0 + 2) was the second star and Laine the three star.
