In the middle of the Mar del Plata summer theater season, Patricia Bullrich took advantage of her time in La Feliz to witness Fátima Flórez’s show at the Roxy Theater, where the comedian displays a repertoire of voices, dances and characters that provoke laughter and applause.
Among the many imitations that the actress presents on stage, one of the ones that caught the most attention was that of the senator herself, whom Flórez portrays with notable comic precision. At the end of the performance, Bullrich did not hide his joy and celebrated the humorous tribute, highlighting the quality of Flórez’s work.
“Re funny, really well done. You pull off my character well. ‘Hard’ (laughs). I loved it, it’s incredible how you imitate,” said Bullrich, underlining her pleasure at the way in which the artist captured her profile and her language in the show.
In dialogue with the public and with Flórez herself, the senator valued not only the punctual imitation, but the actress’s ability to “put herself in the other in such an impressive way” and immerse herself fully in each character she represents in the play.
Bullrich even said with a smile that Flórez “studied me,” in reference to the fact that the impersonator took the time to observe and reconstruct her way of speaking and being on stage, something that, according to the politician, amuses and flatters her equally.
The relaxed atmosphere and mutual recognition marked the meeting between both figures, in an evening where humor and spectacle were combined with the spontaneity of public admiration.
