Pathé cinema on Zuiderdiep in Groningen was raided around 9:15 p.m. on Sunday evening. No one was injured.
The perpetrator did not use a weapon and fled in the direction of Haddingestraat, a police spokesman said. The police distributed a description via Burgernet and are still looking for the suspect.
It is unclear what the robber stole.
