It would not have been better than expected to book a Dutch artist before Tuesday 29 April. Almost all of them were on the big birthday anniversary party of Gerard Joling that evening! The 65-year-old singer and presenter, who is also in the business for forty years, had worked out a lot and even surprised with the arrival of his great idol Vicky Leandros. It will therefore not surprise anyone that The Man of the Hour did not keep it dry. “I thought: Geertje, go crazy. That’s why I gave myself this gift.”
