“Parties do not comment on mandatory municipal mergers”
In a survey of the mayors, CD&V, Vlaams Belang and LDD spoke out against compulsory municipal mergers. The other parties did not respond. “However, voters have a right to clarity before they go to the polls,” say the rural mayors.
