After a day, the particulate matter concentrations in the air have dropped again under the information threshold. This is evident from the latest overview of the inter -regional cell for the Environment (IRCEL) Wednesday afternoon. At 14 hours the 24-hour average PM2.5 concentrations (fine dust smaller than 2.5 micrometer diameter) in Flanders amounted to 29 µg/m³, in Wallonia 24 µg/m³ and in Brussels 33 µg/m³.
