Parquet starts investigation after stolen Olympic medals from Gella Vandecaveye pop up on 2dehands

The public prosecutor of East Flanders has started an investigation into the stolen Olympic medals of former Topjudoka Gella Vandecaveye (51). They suddenly emerged, after an ad appeared on 2dehands.be on Friday evening where a bronze and silver medal are offered. “No doubt possible: those are my medals,” says a shocked Vandecaveye.
