Panamarenko retrospective exhibition in Otegem
The Antwerp artist died two years ago and the center wants to pay tribute to him. Today one of the major masterpieces was installed: an aircraft of no less than 16 meters long. Marc Deweer of Galerij Deweer, who has also died in the meantime, received it from the artist. Since then, the device has been exhibited in various places, but in recent years it has been gathering dust in a shed.
The imposing aircraft thus becomes the eye-catcher of Panamarenko’s retrospective exhibition and it is also for sale.
Also inside are several masterpieces by Panamarenko, including an extensive collection by Marc Coucke, which has never been exhibited before. They can be seen during the opening weekend of March 26, and then several weekends in April.
