In Knokke-Heist, the exhibition ‘Panamarenkos Zoo aan Zee’ was opened on Saturday, five years after the death of the iconic artist Henri van Herwegen, better known as Panamarenko. The exhibition, which can be seen in Scharpoord cultural center until the end of August, focuses on the fascination for animals that were central to his work by the artist. It is also an important part of the Panamarenko 85 series, which celebrates its 85th birthday.
