Pamela Davidlike a chrysalis that became a beautiful butterfly, has proven to have many facets. She is the girl who was born in Córdoba and moved to Santiago del Estero with her family. It is also the one that appeared in the fiction “Primicias”, which participated in the reality “El Bar”, was in the comic cycle “put Francella” and in the remembered “The hairdresser of Don Mateo.” In addition, the one who presented his erotic dreams in “Pamela Sex” of the Playboy TV channel and the one that posed naked for the magazine “Interviú”. He made Magazine theater by Gerardo Sofovich and different comedies in seasons by Carlos Paz, Mar del Plata and Buenos Aires. Pamela David: I am all the pamelas together. I am that of Santiago del Estero with a dream. The one that had the strength and purity of dreaming big. I am the one who talked a lot, the one who studied theater, which kicked two hundred million casting, which was promoter, driver, vedette, Playboy cover. I am all those and today also the one who is a mother, wife and businesswoman. They all taught me something and try to keep them present.
News: There is an impressive evolution from that girl to this present as a driver of the mornings of America TV.
David: Thank you so much! Well, experience, age and work. Put on a goal and try to learn every day. Be loyal to my colleagues, punctual and responsible. It is a task that I do with pleasure.
News: What was your girl as a child?
David: Being an actress of soap operas (smiles). I’m ever acting. When I was without TV for two years I studied theater in private classes with actress Emilia Mazer. It really is something that I like. I do not say that I want to dedicate me as the first passion because I also like to interact and interview.
News: You are one of the most beautiful women in this country. Does that have only things in favor or also some against?
David: In another era, beauty was very underestimated. You were pretty and treated you silly. I was a girl (sic). I don’t want to enlarge, but I was very intelligent and I was all the time with my 360 degree perspective, always looking at all the possibilities. Today, thirty years later, I think, how good how we evolved as a society because I think no one would be encouraged to discriminate against another person for being pretty.
News: Did you ever suffer harassment for its beauty?
David: I don’t want to take voice to women who spent a bad time. I don’t know, maybe some girl inside, shy, without knowing anyone, maybe she doesn’t have how to defend himself. What happened to me is that I had a tarado, when I already lived in this city, that wave threw me in a job interview and I could put it in its place.
News: In his life he went through very painful moments such as his brother’s suicide. How do you remember?
David: It was many years to accompany and travel it like many families who have children with addiction problems. You don’t want anyone. The family falls apart. You pee with everyone, you get angry with the world and with God. Franco had several attempts. Unfortunately it was a sung end. I am very direct, my dad’s pain hurts more. I do not enter the body what a father or a mother can live and I don’t have the words to comfort them. There are no words, there is no comfort. That same year Dad’s twin brother died that was his other half. That is why you have to be grateful for life, to have a plate of food. He, with everything that happened to him, shows me that we have a life that deserves to be lived, valued and cared for.
News: Addiction is a hurricane that sweeps everything in its path.
David: Exact. I would love to have the formula to help addicts because I think they are lost battles. Many of the last acts of insecurity have to do with addictions. I realize that no government, not only this that fell everything, but all governments, none did anything. No one makes prevention campaigns. Sorry to use this expression, but, a tarado of some municipality, teaches you how to drug you. Sooner or later the drug ruins you and kills you. Not having an awareness campaign we have the work of doing it at home, but you are never calm. I educate my children, but then they have to make their way in life.
News: How was it to meet Carolina, her new sister?
David: Life also has those cute moments. I always knew about its existence because as a little boy I was very buy from my dad. Unlike my friends, at that time, I had a lot of dialogue and explained everything. I always knew that the dad who raised Carolina, with a lot of love, had forbidden them to tell him the truth because before these things were not talked about. When he dies my sister gets to look for her true identity and writes to me on Instagram. I just had to travel to Mendoza, I invited her home and we started a very nice relationship and mutual trust. Eight years ago my dad told me that the DNA exam was going to be done, but the truth was not necessary because it is traced with my sister Karina and has even my gestures when speaking.
News: Do you have Cabalas?
David: Not now. In the theater yes because it moves many energies. He made a prayer between bambalins before each function. A Literature, a Ave Mary and a glory. On TV no, maybe because I have to be very early and I am headed on the subject of the day. News: How do you disconnect from work?
David: I like sport, read a book, knit in the winter. I disconnect as in a therapy.
News: How is the relationship with your children?
David: To my son Felipe (18), I hardly see his face because he is with his friends and gets up later. But it is natural for his age. I feel that it is already, that I did my work and since last year I prepared to release. It makes me very happy that I am with your friends and enjoy. And Lola, I see her very big, I am impressed to see her more and more mature at her twelve years.
News: What do you think about the scandals that are ventilated publicly?
David: I feel the minors. With Bruno (Lábaque), Felipe’s father, and with Casandra, his current partner, we have a very good relationship. Therefore, I do not understand what others do with minors in the middle and I will never understand it. I think they do not see it, more is the narcissism of wanting to win the battle. I think they don’t even care about money. Look, Wanda, is a total genius, with a special star that everything that wanted it, but it seems to me that this is wrong.
News: How do you see current journalism?
David: It seems to me that it is wrong not to inform everything. As much as it seems bad, or that you get the rating for the bad news, I feel that there is missing and there is some misinformation. I think that graphic media have the responsibility when communicating. News plays it, it is different. Sometimes it is uncomfortable to see a news lid for many people. But it is also our work: bother. You cannot pretend to dementia and think that nothing is happening.
News: Would you participate in politics?
David: Ever yes. No now, I’m thinking of saving, winning money, investing. But one day I am going to do it because today I was outraged when I learned that Angelica, a Mrs. Santiago, retired, who is cleaning the hostel, went to buy her remedies for diabetes and jumps that, having a temporary job, the Government considers that the discount does not correspond to it. They are the same shit. Long live the fuck! (bothers). What will they expect to die? It is outraged because thank God I can help my retired parents. How many people are having a bad time and we say nothing? We are waiting for the end of the movie to change, although we know it will not change. Everything is very polarized and one thinks: so many flies cannot be wrong.
