Singer and actress Paloma Faith gives a critique The little Mermaid for the movie.
– As a mother of girls, I don’t want my children to think that it’s okay to give up their voice and power in order to love a man, Faith said in a now-deleted Instagram post, according to Metro magazine.

The Little Mermaid is a staged version of Disney’s beloved animated film. Mermaid Ariel falls in love with Prince Erik and makes a contract with Ursula. He gives his vote to Ursula in exchange for getting her own legs and being able to live in the country.
