Painful defeat for Botic van de Zandschulp in Rosmalen, Robin Haase also stranded | Grass tournament Rosmalen

Botic van de Zandschulp failed to survive the first round in Rosmalen. The Veenendaal number 29 in the world went down painfully on the Brabant grass in three sets against the Finn Emil Ruusuvuori, the number 62 in the ATP ranking. After the first set won, Van de Zandschulp only won three more games: 4-6, 6-2, 6-1.

The 23-year-old Ruusuvuori will face the winner of the match between Ilya Ivashka from Belarus and American Mackenzie McDonald in the next round.
