OVERVIEW. Several children among the fatalities, five Ukrainians and Germans do not survive bus disaster in Italy: everything we know

A bus fell from a viaduct in Mestre near Venice (in the north of Italy) on Tuesday evening around 8 p.m. After the impact a large fire broke out. At least 21 people have been killed, including three children. Fifteen others were injured. Four of them are still in critical condition, including serious burns. There are Italian, Ukrainian, German, French and Croatian victims. There is still speculation about the cause of the crash.
