OVERVIEW. From mudslides in Landen to flooding at dance festival Extrema Outdoor in Houthalen-Helchteren: the whole country had to deal with large amounts of precipitation on Sunday

In several places in our country there is flooding due to heavy rainfall. The crisis cell is located together in the Flemish Brabant municipality of Landen. There the station was completely under water and there were mudslides. Dance festival Extrema Outdoor in Houthalen-Helchteren also had to contend with flooding: the festival asked visitors to postpone their arrival until 7 pm or later. Earlier on Sunday, streets in Waregem, Sint-Baafs-Vijve, Zulte and Lievegem were already empty.
