Alibaba will publish the figures for the quarter ended September 30, 2023 at the trimonthly financial conference on November 16, 2023.
On average, 20 analysts forecast earnings per share of CNY 15.28 for the last quarter. This would represent an increase of 18.27 percent compared to the same quarter last year, in which Alibaba reported CNY 12.92 per share.
On average, 27 analysts expect sales of CNY 224.48 billion – that would be an increase of 8.35 percent compared to the same quarter last year, in which CNY 207.18 billion was generated.
The expectations of 40 analysts for the current fiscal year are for an average profit of CNY 65.10 per share. A year earlier, CNY 54.56 per share had been earned. In terms of sales, 57 analysts on average expect a total of CNY 959.34 billion for the current fiscal year, compared to CNY 868.69 billion in the same period last year.
