Outi Mäenpää and Juha Ruusuvuori have the same conversation every week

In an interview with Seura magazine, Outi Mäenpää and Juha Ruusuvuori say that passion is just as strong at a mature age as it was when young.

Actor Outi Mäenpää, 62, and writer Juha Ruusuvuori, 66, tell Company-magazine’s recent interview, that there has been a good mental and physical connection in the relationship from the beginning.

– It was important to me that we both brought out our vulnerability and dared to be direct as quickly as possible, Outi recalls in Seura.

The couple met for the first time in the summer of 1992 in the context of a joint work production. Almost 30 years later, in November 2020, Juha asked Out on a date. The rest is history, because after the first date, both knew that there was no going back to the old ways.

The couple, who got engaged in 2022, says that when you fall in love at a more mature age, it makes more sense than before.

– Physically, the passion and attraction is still as strong as when I was young, says Juha.

Outi agrees, because according to him, falling in love feels just as wonderful as when you were a teenager.

Once a week, the couple has a state of the union discussion. Then we think about whether there was enough intimacy or if there is something the other would like to talk about. Outi and Juha have also agreed that they will no longer talk about difficult issues in the evening when they are tired.

– We weren’t quite young when we started our life together, so each of us had our own daily routines and manners. Matching them was a continuous process for some time, Juha recalls the beginning of the relationship in Seura.
