We all know darts legends Raymond van Barneveld and Michael van Gerwen, but who knows, this year’s new darts champion may come from Uitgeest. Two fellow villagers are participating in the upcoming World Darts Championship that starts today in England. The darts heroes are even neighbors of each other: Niels Zonneveld and Wessel Nijman.

Game schedule
The darts circus traditionally takes place in London’s Alexandra Palace in England. Niels Zonneveld will play his first match on Sunday against the always dangerous Darren Webster. Wessel Nijman will make his debut against darts legend Steve Beaton on Tuesday.
