Otte: “I’m super happy”

Otte is the last remaining German in the individual field in Stuttgart. “I’m super happy,” said the world number 61. after its success. “It is now the second good tournament in a row in Germany. Hopefully it will continue like this.”

Otte had already surprised at the clay court tournament in Munich at the end of April and reached a semi-final on the ATP tour for the first time. With the victory over last year’s Wimbledon semi-finalist Shapovalov, who was already tenth in the world rankings and is currently 16th in the ranking, he now managed another coup.
